The Integrated Building Envelope: Building Envelope System: Physics‐DMI
Join us for our May General Membership Meeting which will feature a presentation on the Integrated Building Envelope for composite waterproofing systems achieved through the understanding of design, material, and installation in order to create continuity in both the process and the building. After taking this on-line session, attendees will be able to define and develop a better understanding of the Building Envelope concept and how terminations, transitions, and penetrations impact the performance and sustainability of buildings.

This course qualifies for 1.0 HSW/LU credit (or 1.0 CEH credit)

 

Guest Speaker: David Leslie, RWC

David Leslie is the Director of Technical Services & Product Management for Polyguard Products Architectural Division. Mr. Leslie’s experience includes product development, contracting, and consulting. His over 30 years of experience has provided him with a unique insight into numerous aspects of the building envelope. He is a published author, public speaker, expert witness, and holder of multiple patents. He is an active member of IIBEC (Registered Waterproofing Consultant #0043), ABAA including a former Licensed Field Auditor (#10124) and SWRI. It is his core belief that there is no good reason for a building to leak and has committed much of his career in keeping people dry.
