The New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED) will be built in phases, with the new 35,000-seat Aloha Stadium completed in Phase 1 and an expected completion date in the Fall of 2023.  Subsequent development phases will include a mix of other uses including housing, entertainment, retail, and hospitality. It is envisioned the 98-acre parcel will require 10 to 15 years to be completely built out over several phases. This is a multi-billion dollar undertaking.

The EIS is underway and expected to be completed by second quarter this year. The solicitation and procurement process will follow a Public Private Partnership (P3) delivery methodology and will begin soon to identify potential qualified developer-led teams from which a preferred developer will be selected. The P3 process will blend public funds with the resources of the private developer to leverage a better, higher value outcome for all parties; public and private alike.

The magnitude of the project means many of our local architects, engineers, constructors, suppliers, service providers, and operators will benefit for many years.

The presentation will be given by Crawford Architects/WT Partnership, who is serving as the owner’s representative, and will include:

  • Project Vision
  • Site Selection Process
  • Integration of TOD
  • Desired Development Components
  • Strategic Analysis
  • Schedule and the Development Process Ahead
