Wai Kai Waterfront Recreation Facility Site Tour

The Wai Kai Waterfront Recreaon Facility (WKWRF) is the first phase of a phased commercial development located at Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Phase one of the development is comprised of 5 buildings: a two‐story wave pool build‐ing that sits atop a one‐story containment structure that holds the water used to form the wave, a retail building that serves the Wave Pool complex and a two‐story restaurant building. There is also a service building that contains the security office and the main mechanical room for Phase 1 with space for future expansion and a maintenance building.  While the Wave Pool is just one of several unique features at the facility includes a manmade beach and lagoon, as well as a special events lawn to accommodate community events. 

The site tour will be hosted by Robert Irvine and Gus Formica of the Wai Kai Commercial Development, LLC the developers of the project and Melissa Humphrey, Project manager from Layton Construcon who is the general contractor for the project.

Site tour requirements:
Since the project is sll under construcon for safety reasons, tour is limited to 25 persons. 
Parking will be available at the project site fronng Layton Construcon’s site trailers.  The entrance to the project site is right across the street from the Hoakalei Country Club parking area.  Parking is not allowed on Keone’ula Boulevard

For safety reasons aendees shall have the following:
Wear closed toed shoes and long pants
Safety glasses
Hardhat
Gloves (not the disposable ones)
Safety vest or bright colored shirt
 
The owner does allow picture taking during the site tour.  However, if you are going to publish the photos you have to get owner’s approval
