Honolulu CSI Participates at Career Day
Honolulu CSI participated in the University of Hawaii-College of Engineering Fall 2013 Career Day on 16 October 2013 at Holmes Hall. The event is a career fair and it provides CSI with an opportunity to introduce CSI to graduating engineering students. If you have not visited the university in some time you will be surprised at the quality of the students that will be graduating in the near future. These young men and women are the emerging professionals in the industry.
Sixty three companies participated in the event including most of the major general contractors here in the islands. Also many engineering and consulting firms had a booth. This is the Chapters second time participating in Career day and the University holds it twice a year. The next one will be in the Spring of 2014 and if your firm wishes to increase their exposure with the School of Engineering attending Career Day is a great way to do it.
